Vinosofia is located in the green heart of Italy. In Umbria a small hilltop town called Spello is where you will find us.
It's a place dedicated to wine and food, where wine is a lifestyle, a philosophy. A cafe and boutique to buy sincere wine, do a wine tasting, to deepen you wine education, to put the winemakers in contact with sommelier and people who are passionate about wine together.
A gathering place to taste and buy unique Italian & European wines with a strong focus on natural wines. We also serve organic espresso, fine tea, artisian beers and organic sangiovese grape juice. Small plates of fois gras, free range organic salami, raw milk artisian cheese, simple bruschetta with fresh Italian olive oil made with local bread. Our food is chosen to complement our seasonal wine selections.
We are also a place where you can find everything for food & wine aficionados. Books, bottle openers, wine coolers, bottle stoppers in Umbrian ceramic and more. You will find up-cycled home goods and accessories made from wine bottles, corks and wine stained Umbrian linen cocktail napkins. Prepare to be inspired!

Almost everything at Vinosofia has been selected on a minimal footprint focus. From our large selection of local wine, cheese and salumi all hand selected to our rennovations using local crftsman and reclaimed materials whenever we could. Vinosofia reflects the heart and soul of people of Spello.

What's in a name?
Vinosofia desires to offer a journey in a glass, a space to provoke and inspire.
Our name was derived from the word philosophy, simply defined as love of wisdom. Vino is of course wine, an ancient libation with a deeply rooted history. The marriage of these two words creates our identity, wine intelligence. Vinosofia can be freely interpreted, just like a great wine. |
